The Art of Photography: How to Craft Captivating Work & Make a Living as a Professional Photographer

This workshop will provide a brief introduction into photojournalism and creative portrait photography. Along with Mr. Campbell, Ms. Rivard - a Nipmuc graduate and professional photographer - will touch on photographic lighting, composition, human connection and emotions, retouching and photo editing, and other grabbing photographic elements. Participants will also talk about how to get started in the photography business. As a culminating activity, students will be able to begin building their own photo portfolio by putting their photography skills to work on campus.
